What's new in my workshop ?

Since the SIMP, I am working on a small greenhouse that could take place very close my Lilla Hyttnäs cottage.
I had great time working on the aged look of the construction.
Here are a few pictures of the front :

As it is almost time for holidays, I don't know when I will be able to post. But anyway, I will try to stay tuned and see all your wonderful and inspirational blogs.
Have great time !

Let's go to the SIMP !

It's been a while since I posted ...
Actually, I was busy working on very few pieces of furniture I will be exhibiting next sunday, the 24th of June,  at the SIMP with my dear and talented friend Catherine.
Here are some pictures :

I hope I will see many of you and for those who never visited before the SIMP, you won't be desapointed : it is a great show !

Same cupboard but ...

... different style.
When I decided to make the corner cabinet I previously showed, I projected to build a second one and here it is :

Unless it is exactly the same pattern and design (except for the door - the one I made for the workshop is for left-handed like me ;-)), the result is completely different.
Hope you will like it.
Have a nice week-end !
(it is almost spring in Paris - and no rain !)

What is new is the workshop ?

Well, instead of finishing the room itself, I began furnishing the workshop ...
I know, I know ! I should be reasonnable because the room is not at all completed yet but ... I can't help it ! I do need to make furniture ;-)
So, here is a small corner cabinet :

Back to work now ... I am working on two kind of chairs.
I will show you as soon as I can.

Wall paneling

Here are a few pictures of the wall I almost finished (as nothing is yet fixed) :

Paneling ...

As the whole workshop is supposed to be paneled, I decided to make my own paneling because buying it would have been to costly.
So I took some dark wood (not good enough for furniture) I have in stock and cut it to length and width
Then, with my circular saw and a special blade, I made a first 0,6 mm groove on both side :
The second groove is done 0,6 mm ahead and bit higher :

Because sanding would have ruined the grooves, for cleaning I used a razor blade which can be a great tool !
After painting and lightly aging, here is the completed paneling :
And now, back to work because I must do a huge quantity of this wood paneling ...
Have a nice week end and stay tuned !
