How it is made ...

I am reworking on my dresser. It is the very one that I have in my living / dining room.
I made a first try that you already saw but it was not so good so I have decided to redo it. And I wanted to show you how I work and how my furniture are made.
So here are a few pictures describing the process :

Back home !

Exhausted but happy, I am back home after 2 weeks abroad.
Some of you may be jalous (everyone knows how life can be unfair), but I have been lucky enough to go to the Tom Bishop's show in Chicago ;-)
I have met wonderful people such as Jim, Alan and Scott.
I had fun times with the few Frenchies that were there.

The closing is still missing but I need inspiration !
Anyway, I went through with my 26 drawers and, believe me or not, the longer part was to fix all the handles (actually, it was just a nightmare !).
OK ! It is time for the show :

I know : the wallpaper inside the doors and the drawers is a bit "girly", but I could'nt help ...

And, that's it !
I am ready for making the workbench I am dreaming about for a while to get with this cabinet.

Far from being finished !

I needed a small break in constructing my new house. So I have began this unusual furniture, a kind of tall boy, which could be perfect to hold furniture's plans for example as I do need to have a workshop in my house ;-)

I am just in the starting blocks to make the 26 drawers but I still need an idea for closing the doors ...
See you as soon as the drawers are finished !

I need to add a handrail to my staircase. The house will hosted children ;-)
