Gifted ;-)

I want to share with you the latest gifts I was lucky enough to receive.
The very first one comes from a fine and delicate miniaturist : Flora

This highly detailed suitcase is a tribute to the sinking of the Titanic. It belonged to one of the passengers who came to Cherbourg.

The second one is almost a commission I asked Catherine

This lovely painting is something I really wanted ! Actually, the original one (scale 1/1) belongs to my mother and is painted on an ordinary round tin tray. I sent a few pictures to Catherine this summer, then I made the frame.
And, at last, here is what I am working on these days :

I would like to find a "miroir de sorcière" to fit the hole but I am not sure I can find one in 1/12 scale.

But I worked too quickly and,  yes ! too dirty I am afraid ;-)

 I think I will put it in the kitchen and maybe I will add curtains at the bottom.

Summertime ...

Pascale spoiled me ! Look at those marvelous poppies she made for me !

I am such a lucky girl.
My friend Catherine offered me the two cute teapots made by Dominique Lévy and the tureens are from Elisabeth Causeret.
I won't be home for a while so don't be surprised if I don't post anything prior 3 to 5 weeks. I have tons of projects but my hands are really bad those times ! I think I need a break ...
Meantime, have a wonderful summertime with Porgy and Bess ;-)
