The potting table

My gifted, highly talented and dear friend Catherine B. and I decided to play a four hands piece to offer to another great miniaturist : Pascale Garnier who makes so realistic and beautiful flower kits.
So, I made the table and Catherine painted it.
And, here is the result :
before

(this time I have chosen to work with lime tree ... bad idea, this wood is not good enough and so breakable)

AFTER

You must admit I was not lying when I said Catherine is talented ! She has done a wonderful job. For me, now the table is "alive".
And you know what ? I can't imagine Pascale won't like it !!!

Back from the SIMP

with my little treasures.
Once again, I can't resist Elisabeth Causeret potteries -;)

I always have a great pleasure seeing Cilla Hallbert
But yesterday (as far as I am concern, of course) the BIG one discover was le Molecole
See you soon friends !

A wonderful gift from a wonderful Lady

I am sure everyone knows Catherine. She is an extraordinary gifted and talented miniaturist (and I am really for those who might don't know her work ...)
I have the luck to correspond with her and ... yesterday ... look what was in my mail box :

I am so lucky !
The lamp is just perfect. I can't imagine how she fixed such a tiny braid on the lamp shade.
Well, I am speechless (and soooooo happy !!!)

A few pictures ...

of the house I am working on.
I had to redo the front opening because the very first one was to narrow ...
I have taken the pictures from the front house but it is from the back that the inside will be seen.

I know it looks a bit messy but believe me ;-) it is going to be OK !!!

My Mac is back and the dresser is completed !

Two good news for just one post ! How lucky I am, don't you think ?

No more apple at home ...

The faithful family MacBook went for repair and I won't get it back before 7 long and painful days ;-)
The proverb says that "an apple a day keeps the doctor away" but what if the Apple itself needs a doctor ?
This is a fascinating paradox I let to your wisdom (and thank you for your brilliant analysis).

The bottom of the dresser is completed

The next step will be the upper cabinet. But first, a few pictures :

All the potteries on the last picture are made by Elisabeth Causeret. She will exhibit at the Kensington Dollhouse Festival next week. If you plan to go to London, stop by her booth : she is not only talented but also a nice person.
